The vytux suite of add-on’s are basically what kiwi had done except that are compatible with the 1.5 and up versions of webtrees. They are still available if you have an older version of webtrees.īut do not fret, another volunteer programmer has stepped in to help us out. Unfortunately Kiwi has split from the project and no longer updates his add-on’s to support webtrees 1.5 and up. Particularly the ‘simpl menu’ and ‘simpl gallery’ although there were many others. Prior to the new 1.5 webtrees series we had kiwi and his suite of add-on’s called “simple add-on’s”. Anybody that has used webtrees for longer than a year may side on NOT customizing simply because of the hassle of updating and making sure any add-on’s are compatible with new versions of webtrees. If you experience any bugs or have a feature request for this theme you can create a new issue.For webtrees users there’s often the question of whether to customize or not. When ready to generate the stylesheets, run the command 'npm run production'.

The JustLight theme is based on the Bootstrap framework and uses Sass to code the stylesheets. Look in the webtrees folder resources/lang to find the correct code. Use the official two-letter language code as file name. Copy the file nl.php into the resources/lang folder and replace the Dutch text with the translation into your own language. The text on the configuration page is translatable. In this case, an additional 'palette' menu is created. The JustLight theme has a small configuration page where you can set the default color palette and specify whether the user can choose their own palette. Go to the theme section in the control panel.

If you need to upgrade an existing installation replace the module folder inside the modules_v4 folder with the new one. Unzip the release package and place the jc-theme-justlight folder inside modules_v4 folder of your webtrees installation. Installing or upgrading the theme should be straightforward. This palette is more relaxing for the eyes. The JustBlack palette is a theme with a dark background and orange accents. The JustLight palette is a modern theme in clean white and blue. The standard JustLight as you are used to and a new JustBlack theme which is a dark theme and looks a lot like the former independent JustBlack theme. Currently there are two palettes to choose from.
If you like a clean layout you certainly want to try this theme.Īs of version 2.1.0, a new color palette has been introduced. Furthermore this theme offers different layouts with some extra's. This theme is optimized for using on tablets and mobile phones.
